Introduction

Shalom my name is Chris Brody and I am now starting yet another blog that will focus on my faith in the Lord. I was born Jewish and first found my faith in G'd when going to a Waldorf school that was supposed to be non-denominational but turned out to be very Christian. Unfortunately some things turned me off from the Christians and I continued my relationship with G'd through my Reform Bar Mitzvah and also going to Jewish clubs during my college years. I started to rebuild my faith in G'd when some Christians prayed for me about 10 years ago or and then found Yeshua-Jesus the Messiah through a healing service on TV by the Televangelist Pastor David Hathaway.

With the Lord I visited some churches and Messianic Jewish assemblies in Amsterdam and He has brought me to accept the Christian City Church (C3) in Amsterdam, which is part of the C3 movement from Australia, as my spiritual home.

I have also started to learn some very things about faith through Kabbalah, and I do plan to go through some of these things in future postings on this blog. This is a very controversial subject for Messianic believers and while I believe it is important to be careful and "not lean on your understanding" (Proverbs 3:5), I also believe there are some very important interpretations of the Word coming from very well-studied Rabbis that we can learn from through our belief in the Creator (Father), the Son and Messiah Yeshua-Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

As an application programmer, new online businessman, and new blogger I am now called to do everything in faith and do expect some of my postings to cover subjects in blogging and business from a faith perspective.
